Off to War: Ken Burns, who brought the acclaimed series “Civil War” to television, gets a chance to play a Confederate soldier in “Killer Angels,” a miniseries being made for Turner Broadcasting. Burns films his non-speaking role this weekend on location at Gettysburg. TNT chief Ted Turner also has a cameo, appearing as a Southern officer who falls during Pickett’s Charge. Burns gets killed in the attack at Roundtop.
