Peat, who started one game in 1990 as an extra tight end, has been a versatile backup since signing as a free agent with the Raiders in 1990. He was drafted by Phoenix in 1987 and started 27 games in his three years with the Cardinals.

In Sunday’s loss to Cincinnati, Marcus Allen scored the 96th touchdown of his career. If he scores four more, he will become the NFL’s eighth player to reach the 100-touchdown milestone.
Not only did Allen come off the bench and make a key contribution on offense against Cincinnati, the 11-year veteran also stepped in on special teams.
Allen filled in as a wedge blocker on the Raiders’ kickoff return team. He was on the field during the key overtime fumble by Dan Land that led to Cincinnati’s winning field goal.

With Montoya out, rookie offensive lineman Greg Skrepenak is expected to be activated for Sunday’s game. He sat out the first two. Rookie defensive lineman Chester McGlockton is expected to miss his third consecutive game because of a foot injury. Defensive lineman Nolan Harrison and Moss are questionable for Sunday because of knee and groin injuries, respectively.
