Countywide : Tropical Storm Brings Showers
Moisture from a tropical storm off Baja California brought scattered clouds and isolated light showers to Ventura County on Thursday, but forecasters predicted only a few more sprinkles before the area dries out again.
A weak storm 300 miles west of San Francisco helped to draw the moisture north from tropical storm Roslyn, which was expected to remain far south of Southern California, said meteorologist Steve Burback of WeatherData Inc.
“It should continue to be humid, but any rain will be real spotty in nature,” Burback said.
High temperatures should range from the 70s along the coast today and Saturday to the lower 90s in inland areas near Ojai. Overnight lows are expected to be in the mid-50s.
