May Day: A portion of the proceeds from Peter, Paul & Mary’s concert Friday at the Universal Amphitheatre will go toward medical care costs of Brian May, a Los Angeles folk music radio host. May, who can be heard on KIEV-AM on Wednesdays at midnight, has been a quadriplegic since childhood due to a defective polio vaccination. Fans buying tickets for special seats earmarked for May will also be able to attend a post-concert reception with him and the veteran folk trio.
