EL CAJON : Migrant’s Death Ruled Suicide
An undocumented immigrant committed suicide Sunday in a holding cell that contained several migrants at the Border Patrol’s El Cajon office, the county medical examiner’s office ruled Tuesday.
Bartolome Rojas, 26, of Sonoma, Calif., was found dead Sunday afternoon at the Border Patrol’s lockup at the Kenney Street station, a medical examiner’s spokesman said. An autopsy determined that Rojas had strangled himself with his shirt, the spokesman said.
