The Ventura County division of Oltmans Construction Co. is completing a $2.2-million improvement project in one of two office buildings the company built in the 150-acre Sierra Gateway Center complex in Palmdale.
Most of the modifications are on 52,000 square feet to be occupied by Lockheed Advanced Development Co., the famed “Skunk Works” unit of Lockheed Corp. that is moving from Burbank to Palmdale. Oltmans, whose headquarters office is in Whittier, is also completing tenant improvements on smaller space in the same building to be occupied by a Pacific Bell directory assistance office.
Robert Larson, assistant vice president in charge of Oltmans’ Ventura County operations, based in Thousand Oaks, said the Palmdale project should be finished in October.
