THOUSAND OAKS : Residents Invited to General Plan Review
- Share via
Residents of north-central Thousand Oaks will have a chance to speak out about their concerns for the future of the city at a General Plan review forum Sept. 24.
Topics on the agenda include future uses of the former Civic Center property on McCloud Avenue, Cal Lutheran University’s northern campus plans and traffic along Moorpark Road.
The proposed widening of Erbes and Lynn roads also will be discussed.
The 7 p.m. forum at the Goebel Senior Adult Center will be led by the General Plan Review Committee, made up of City Council members Judy Lazar and Elois Zeanah and Planning Commissioners Irving Wasserman and Marilyn Carpenter.
It will be the third of four planned forums. The last forum will cover Thousand Oaks Boulevard, the city’s main business district.
The General Plan is the city’s policy document and guide to development.
