High School Football / Southern Section : ROUNDUP : Delmatoff Passes for 386 Yards, 6 Scores in Hart Win

Hart High senior Davis Delmatoff made an impressive debut at quarterback as he threw for 386 yards and six touchdowns to lead the Indians to a 43-6 victory over Pasadena in a nonleague opener Friday night at College of the Canyons.
Delmatoff, a wide receiver last season, connected on 20 of 37 passes, including touchdowns of 34, 36, 18, 14, five and 30 yards.
Receiver Jared Halverson had eight receptions for 130 yards and two touchdowns. Teammate Soren Halladay had four catches for 98 yards and two touchdowns.
Running back Deriek Charles, the Indians’ leading receiver last season, had seven receptions for 40 yards. Hart took a 15-0 lead in the first quarter and scored on the first play of the second period to take a 22-0 lead.
Pasadena’s Treyvonne Towns (119 yards in 16 carries) scored on a 56-yard run a minute later, but that was the extent of the Bulldogs’ scoring.
