SIMI VALLEY : Bank Robber Flees Branch With Cash

An unidentified man robbed a Simi Valley bank Friday, escaping with an undisclosed amount of cash, authorities said.
The robbery occurred about 11:32 a.m., when the man entered the Security Pacific Bank branch at 1307 E. Los Angeles Ave. and approached a teller, said Simi Valley Police Sgt. Mike King.
The man told the teller he was robbing the bank and requested money, King said. The teller complied and the robber quickly fled.
No weapon was seen and the man did not say he had one, King said.
