Platinum Software Files With SEC

Platinum Software Corp. said it has filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission for an initial public offering of 1.8 million shares of common stock.
The company said it expects the shares to be priced at $9.50 to $11.50 each. Hambrecht & Quist and Montgomery Securities will manage the offering.
Platinum Software, based in Irvine, is the parent company of Advanced Business Microsystems Inc.
