San Gabriel : Survey on City Services
Seeking opinions from residents and businesses about city services and spending, the city will mail a questionnaire to 15,000 addresses next week.
The survey, included with the fall issue of the city magazine, asks people to rate their level of satisfaction with a range of services, from police and fire protection to recreation programs. The survey also asks whether the city should reduce the level of services to compensate for lost revenues from the state or should increase local taxes to maintain services.
To encourage participation in the survey, the city will give away a pair of season tickets to musicals at the Civic Auditorium and two awards of $100 in city services, such as recreation classes or refuse removal.
Results of the survey will be published in the winter issue of the city magazine.
