Articles on the Woody Allen-Mia Farrow scandal abound, and for the most part focus on Allen’s films and what we can now glean from them in the aftermath of the various allegations. I refer directly to the column by Nelson Pressley (Commentary, Aug. 23).
Where are the words of concern for Soon-Yi Farrow Previn? Consider how this whole affair will affect her life.
Soon-Yi is a child. As children are consistently devalued in this great America, it is no surprise that she is being treated as a mere “character” in a novel or movie. Unfortunately she is a real person and will have to deal with this whole mess in a real life way!
