First Lady Barbara Bush

In Ellen Goodman’s column (Aug. 21), she seems to be making a statement about “fairness” in bashing. It is her opinion that Hillary Clinton is being unfairly bashed. Well, Ellen, you apparently did not read The Times Column One (“First Lady Takes the Gloves Off,” Aug. 19), in which nearly two full pages were used to unfairly bash Mrs. Bush.
