Clinton Republicans: Brave or Turncoats?
I was surprised to see where certain influential Orange County Republicans are supporting Bill Clinton for President. How naive can they be?
It doesn’t take an economic genius to know that the only way to stimulate our economy is to increase consumer spending. The obvious way to do this is to reduce taxes, thereby giving the consumer additional money to spend. Bill Clinton and his Democratic supporters believe that the only way to stimulate the economy is to increase government spending, which obviously would call for a tax increase. How, one must ask, does Clinton plan to pay for his grandiose programs?
George Bush might not be the ideal choice for President, but he sure beats Clinton! I urge voters to listen carefully to the political rhetoric of both parties and to carefully analyze the details before going to the polls.
