GOP and Democrats Trade Charges
I attended college in the ‘60s and served in Vietnam in ‘69-’70. I have heard several references to Clinton as a draft dodger. Anyone from my generation knows that there were several methods of “draft dodging” available: One could simply refuse to enter the military and go to jail, go to Canada or Europe, or go into the National Guard. Of course only people whose family or friends had connections could get into the National Guard. Dan Quayle did.
