American collectors of Beatles material are expected to be the highest bidders Thursday at Sotheby’s 11th Annual Sale of Rock ‘n’ Roll and Film Memorabilia.
Among items scheduled for the auction block are handwritten John Lennon lyrics and films of private Beatles trips to East Africa, Europe, India and the Greek islands. Madonna’s gold basque outfit from her “Blond Ambition” tour, Harrison Ford’s fedora from “Raiders of the Lost Ark” and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s black leather jacket from “Terminator 2” are also included.
