President Bush’s Speech

How can I benefit from an across-the-board tax cut if I don’t have an income to cut taxes on? Does Bush really believe that the “specific spending reductions” needed to offset the tax cut won’t result in forcing thousands more who had been working on government contracts into losing their jobs? Does he really think that a lousy cut in capital gains taxes for the rich will cause them to go out and hire the millions of Americans who desperately need work?
Does Bush really expect to get reelected by a clumsy attempt at bribery? Maybe he should do some lip-reading of his own.
