President Bush’s Speech

The comments about the Bush baseball card say a lot about the liberal-leaning media (Aug. 20). A college batting average of .251--especially in 1947-48--could hardly be described as respectable and two home runs for a first baseman borders on the pathetic.
But Clinton liberals would find a 25% success rate and the occasional home run equivalent to superstar status for the Democrats’ social welfare programs and perfect justification for tax increases and billions more of expenditures.
