Cue the Dinosaurs: Director Steven Spielberg begins principal photography today in Kauai for “Jurassic Park,” a thriller about genetically engineered dinosaurs who get out of control in a contemporary jungle theme park. The Universal Pictures film, based on Michael Crichton’s novel, stars Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Richard Attenborough--and live-action dinosaurs that Spielberg’s design team has been working on for more than 18 months. It’s due out next summer.
