SAN DIEGO : Driver Hospitalized After Hitting Cars
A 25-year-old man was injured late Friday when his car veered out of control, striking six parked cars and another moving vehicle, San Diego police said.
The accident occurred about 10:46 p.m. when Robert Lynch was driving south in the 1900 block of Park Boulevard, police said. His car suddenly veered to the right and struck three parked cars.
After swerving back into the lanes, Lynch’s 1977 Chevrolet Malibu struck the rear end of a Mercedes-Benz traveling south on Park Boulevard, and then struck three more parked vehicles.
Lynch was taken to Mercy Hospital and was listed in critical condition Saturday with head and chest injuries.
