Dodging Trains
Times reporter John M. Glionna gave an interesting account of kids jumping in front of speeding trains (Aug. 10). It seems that they create this nuisance for “thrills.”
I was on a gymnastic team in my own nonage, and I can strongly recommend the flyaway from the horizontal bar at the end of a giant swing. This would require developing muscles, though, and what those kids should do is develop their brains.
