Perceptronics Gets Army Contract Worth $1 Million

Perceptronics Inc. said it received a $1-million contract to enhance military training systems.
The Woodland Hills-based company specializes in computerized simulation systems used by the military. The latest contract, covering 16 months, was awarded by the U. S. Army Research Institute.
Perceptronics said the enhanced systems will include software that better enables the Army to evaluate soldiers’ performances in a variety of simulated battle situations.
