CAMP PENDLETON : Fall From Bridge Kills Mexican Man

A Mexican national in his 30s was killed late Saturday when he fell from a freeway bridge onto railroad tracks at Camp Pendleton, authorities said.
The victim, who was not identified, was walking with another man at about 10 p.m. along the northbound lanes of Interstate 5, about a mile north of Las Pulgas Road, when the companion noticed that the other man was suddenly missing.
The second man looked over the bridge and saw the victim lying on the tracks about 50-feet below. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
