Preserve Kadota Fig
Of course Julie Rose is right. The people in the Kadota Fig area of Simi Valley could make more money from their properties if they sold out to eager developers (“Preservation of Kadota Fig Area Urged,” July 25).
However, that’s what seems wrong with our country these days. People are overly concerned with making money and have somehow lost their sense of value for family, home and community. As a 13-year resident of the Kadota Fig area, I find it a great place to raise a family.
I hope and pray that this community will continue to fight to preserve this rural, healthy and unique area.
