Family Planning
The pro-life/pro-choice debate (“Bar Assn. Renews Fight on Abortion,” Aug. 11) obscures more important issues: How to support the overwhelming majority of mothers who let their babies live, and struggle to raise them; and how to promote reproductive responsibility.
Abortion would become unthinkable under ordinary circumstances were we to devote to mothers and family planning the energy and resources we now spend debating abortion.
