Hotelier Reduces European Rates: Radisson Hotel Corp. said it will cut room rates up to 50% at selected European hotels, including nine in the London area, in hopes of enticing more American tourists. Discounts will be available from Oct. 15 to Dec. 31 at hotels in Salzburg, Austria; Seville, Spain; Lausanne and Geneva, Switzerland; and Szczecin, Poland. Lower rates will take hold at hotels in London, including one at Heathrow Airport, from Nov. 1 to Dec. 31.
