Broadcast Bias?: A new study from the Washington-based Center for Media and Public Affairs finds that Democratic nominees Bill Clinton and Al Gore have received nearly twice as much favorable TV news coverage as Republican candidates George Bush and Dan Quayle so far in the presidential campaign. During the first seven months of 1992, the group analyzed comments from 2,798 sources who appeared on 1,366 election stories broadcast on ABC, CBS and NBC.
