Ruse Helps Owner Get Stolen Motorcycle Back
Associated Press
NANUET, N.Y. — A man saw his stolen motorcycle breeze by on a highway and managed to trick the rider into giving it back, police said.
Christopher Brown was charged with criminal possession of stolen property after the cycle’s owner, Mark Desautelle, got Brown to lend it to him for a test drive, police said.
Desautelle had his 1990 Harley Davidson stolen in May, police said. He was driving on the Garden State Parkway in New Jersey when he saw the bike speed by him.
