The following are selected entries from the crime logs of local law enforcement agencies between Aug. 3 and Aug. 9: Glendale
North Brand Boulevard, 500 block--A $4,135 computer system was stolen from a Cigna Health Plans office Aug. 3.
South Verdugo Road, 600 block--A woman’s wedding ring, valued at $10,000, was reported stolen from a home Aug. 6.
Geneva Street, 400 block--A cocker spaniel puppy valued at $400 was stolen from a locked house between 8:45 and 10:30 p.m. Aug. 4.
Vassar Avenue, 1900 block--A ring, valued at $1,500, and a camera, earrings and coin collection, valued together at $637, were stolen from an apartment between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Aug. 4.
North Verdugo Road, 200 block--Two robbers armed with a handgun and a knife forced two employees of a fast-food restaurant to open the store after closing time at 11:20 p.m. Aug. 5 and fled with $2,000 from a floor safe.
Honolulu Avenue and Ocean View Boulevard--A man on a bicycle was threatened with a baseball bat by another man and robbed of a wallet containing $299 at 11:45 p.m. on Aug. 5.
Verdugo Boulevard, 2000 block--Burglars broke into a drugstore at 3 a.m. Aug. 5 and stole perfume valued at $1,000.
San Fernando Road, 6500 block--A salesman at a car lot reported that during a test drive at 7:10 p.m. Aug. 6, two men forced him out of a car at gunpoint and fled in the vehicle.
Arden Avenue, 800 block--Thieves pried open the window of a home between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Aug. 9 and stole an antique revolver of undetermined value and jewelry, a camera, binoculars and a radio valued together at $2,745.

Sunnynook Drive, 3300 block--Stereo and video equipment, valued at $1,590, were stolen from a home between 7:30 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. Aug. 3.
Brunswick Avenue, 4400 block--Money and firearms, valued at $1,525, were stolen from a home between 9:15 a.m. and 6 p.m. Aug. 3.
Glendale Boulevard, 3200 block--A woman reported that a man and a woman stole $2,005 from her in a bunco scheme at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 5.

Fair Park Avenue, 2300 block--Burglars broke into a home at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 3 and stole jewelry valued at $6,300.
Colorado Boulevard, 2700 block--A man ran up to a person in a parking lot and grabbed money and checks valued at $915 at 9:35 a.m. Aug. 4.
Lompoc Street, 2700 block--A home was ransacked by thieves between 9 a.m. and 6:50 p.m. Aug. 7 and video equipment and jewelry, valued at $1,410, were stolen.
Eagle Rock Boulevard and Plaza Place--A man in the parking lot of a mall was punched in the face by a robber who fled with $50 in cash at 9:35 p.m. Aug. 6.
Fair Park Avenue, 2300 block--Money and jewelry, valued at $6,000, were stolen from a home after burglars entered by prying open a sliding door between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. Aug. 7.

Coronado Street, 1300 block--Witnesses reported seeing a woman burglar at a home where money and video equipment, valued at $1,540, were stolen at 9 a.m. Aug. 5.
Elevado Street, 1400 block--A TV and stereo, valued at $4,000, were stolen from an apartment between 9 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Aug. 6.
Laveta Terrace, 1400 block--A gunman robbed a motorist of his car and a wallet containing about $15 at 6:10 a.m. Aug. 7.
Echo Park Avenue and Sunset Boulevard--A man was arrested by police after they saw him attempt to rob a pedestrian on the sidewalk at 2:10 p.m. Aug. 7.
Fanning Street, 1700 block--Two men robbed a woman at gunpoint of a purse and money, valued at $90, at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 8.
Highland Park
North Avenue 58, 100 block--A gunman robbed a pedestrian of tools, valued at $600, at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 3.
York Boulevard, 6400 block--Burglars pried open the front door of a fast-food restaurant and stole a safe containing $3,837 cash on Aug. 2 or 3.
Avenue 65, 800 block--A stereo and clothing, valued at $1,600, were stolen from an apartment between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. Aug. 5.
Avenue 53 and Rangeview Avenue--A man and woman robbed a pedestrian at gunpoint of a purse and money, valued at $1,381, at 2:15 p.m. Aug. 6.
Figueroa Street, 5800 block--Three men and two women entered a commercial building at gunpoint and robbed a person of $200 at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 6.
North Figueroa Street, 6300 block--A robber handed a teller a bomb threat note at a savings and loan and fled with $1,501 at 11:40 a.m. Aug. 8. No explosive device was found.
Figueroa Street and Avenue 56--A man snatched a purse and jewelry, valued at $997, from a woman pedestrian at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 8.
North Figueroa Street, 4200 block--A woman sitting in her car at 2:30 a.m. Aug. 9 was robbed at gunpoint by three men of $30 cash and the vehicle.

Eagle Rock Boulevard, 3800 block--A burglary was reported Aug. 8. The thieves took a TV and video equipment, valued at $3,750.
Toland Way, 3700 block--Burglars pried open the rear door of a home and stole a TV and stereo, valued at $8,013, between 11:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Aug. 4.
West Avenue 35, 2700 block--Four gunmen entered a home the morning of Aug. 5, ordered two occupants into a closet, ransacked the bedrooms and fled with money and video equipment, valued at $2,200.
Los Feliz
Sunset Boulevard, 4500 block--Supplies and equipment, valued at $7,200, were reported stolen from a market on Aug. 7.
Perlita Avenue, 4200 block--Two men armed with knives surrounded a pedestrian and robbed him of $120 cash at 8 p.m. Aug. 3.
Commonwealth Avenue, 1200 block--Thieves entered an apartment through an unlocked window and stole jewelry and money, valued at $3,700, between 6:45 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Aug. 5.
St. George Street, 2900 block--An apartment was burglarized Aug. 5 or 6 and money and video equipment, valued at $1,550, was stolen.
Sunset Boulevard and Vermont Avenue--Three men robbed a person in a parking lot of $405 cash at noon Aug. 7.
Mt. Washington
West Avenue 43, 3900 block--Jewelry and other property, valued at $7,005, were stolen from a home by burglars between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Aug. 3.
Crane Boulevard, 400 block--Thieves stole $2,350 in jewelry from a home between 7:55 a.m. and 8:15 p.m. Aug. 4.

Angelus Avenue and Reservoir Street--Two men armed with revolvers robbed a pedestrian of a wallet and money, valued at $90, at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 3.
Lemoyne Street, 2100 block--Two men robbed a pedestrian of jewelry and a purse, valued at $267, at 2:45 p.m. Aug. 4.
Fletcher Drive and Laclede Avenue--Three men assaulted a pedestrian at 11:15 p.m. Aug. 6 and fled with money and clothing, valued at $260.
Edenhurst Avenue, 4100 block--A burglar stole video equipment and jewelry, valued at $1,285, from a home on the morning of Aug. 7.
Cerro Gordo Street, 2000 block--A pedestrian was robbed of $60 by a gunman at 6:45 a.m. Aug. 7.
