Bitten by the Bug: Michael Jackson called in sick an hour before his scheduled concert Saturday night at Wembley Stadium in London, sending 72,000 fans home. Jackson, who began the British leg of his current world tour last week, decided to cancel after a doctor diagnosed him as having a case of the flu, his spokesman said. Fans had already filled the stadium and support acts had started performing when it was announced that Jackson would not appear. Some in the audience burst into tears at the news.
