Monterey Park : Police Schedule Seminar
To help increase community participation in Neighborhood Watch, the Police Department has scheduled a seminar at 7 p.m. Thursday at City Hall.
Capt. James Strait called Neighborhood Watch an effective tool in crime prevention but said many residents do not participate because they are afraid to become involved with the police.
