The Strings were eliminated from the World TeamTennis playoff race Wednesday night despite a 30-21 victory over Vail at the Forum. Sacramento’s victory at New Jersey ended the Strings’ playoff hopes.
The Strings (4-7) ended a six-match losing streak and dropped only one set, the mixed doubles.
