Coach McHale Promoted at Buena Park
Russell McHale, an assistant coach at Buena Park High last season, was named interim football coach at the school, the Fullerton Joint Union High School District announced Wednesday.
McHale, a special education teacher, coached freshman football in 1989 and was the freshman boys’ basketball coach last season.
He succeeds Marty Luczaj, who retired this summer.
