Wynn’s International Earnings Up by 55%

Wynn’s International Inc., citing improved margins in its restructured air-conditioning systems unit and strong sales of its automotive sealing products, on Tuesday reported a 55% increase in second-quarter profit.
The Orange-based company, a worldwide supplier of seals, molded rubber products, petrochemical specialties products, automotive air conditioners and builders hardware, posted a net income of $1.7 million, or 48 cents a share, up from $1.1 million, or 30 cents a share, in the same period of 1991. Revenue was $76.6 million, up 3% from $74.4 million a year earlier.
The company said income for the first half rose 57% to $3.3 million, or 90 cents a share, from $2.1 million, or 56 cents a share. Revenue in the first six months was up 6% to $148.1 million from $140.2 million.
Wynn’s International, founded in 1939, is based in Orange and has 2,005 employees in several divisions in Tennessee, Texas and Southern California.
