Amleto Monacelli of Venezuela defeated four opponents in the finals en route to his 12th Professional Bowlers Assn. title at Edmond, Okla.
Monacelli rolled past top-seeded Pete Weber of Florissant, Mo., 241-212, in the title match to earn the $38,000 top prize.
Monacelli then advanced to meet PBA Senior Tour point leader Gene Stus of Allen Park, Mich., in a one-game winner-take-all Choice Challenge. Monacelli beat Stus, 233-198, to win $25,000.
Earlier, Monacelli defeated Ray Edwards of Centereach, N.Y., 205-183; Norm Duke of Oklahoma City, 219-199, and Mark Williams of Beaumont, Tex., 269-192.
