LITTLE TOWN BLUES: Santa Ana cabinetmaker Robert Acosta had good reason to take his bicycle to the Democratic National Convention: A volunteer for Edmund G. (Jerry) Brown Jr., he bicycled the daily Brown newsletter to the former California governor’s delegates in hotels all over New York. It took him three hours each morning. . . . Says Acosta: “You have to go with the flow. You’ve got to pretend you’re a taxi driver.”
