Diceon Electronics Posts $4.49-Million Quarter Loss

Diceon Electronics Inc., hurt by the recession, reported Wednesday a third-quarter loss of $4.49 million, equal to 88 cents per share, compared to a loss of $2.68 million, or 51 cents, in a corresponding period last year.
The struggling Irvine circuit board manufacturer said its revenue for the period ended June 27 dropped to $22.39 million from $24.33 million last year.
The company reported a net loss of $9.70 million, or $1.88 per share, for the first nine months, compared to a loss of $6.98 million, or $1.34 per share, last year. Sales for the period dropped to $74.21 million from $80.10 million in fiscal 1991.
