Gore to Be Nominated by Sen. Barbara Mikulski

BALTIMORE — Sen. Barbara A. Mikulski of Maryland will deliver the vice-presidential nominating speech for Sen. Albert Gore Jr. at the Democratic National Convention.
Mikulski’s speech Thursday will immediately precede a state-by-state roll call to confirm the Tennessee senator’s nomination as Bill Clinton’s running mate.
