Program at Hospital Offers Jobs to Youths
Kaiser Permanente is holding its summer youth program through Aug. 14 to provide employment for teen-agers 16 to 18.
Under the guidance of supervisors, the students work at various departments of local Kaiser facilities. They also are involved in CPR training and job search workshops.
San Gabriel Valley students participating are Vilma Banuelos and Kathleen D. Rodriguez, Baldwin Park High School; Mui Cau, Jose Gutierrez, Ana I. Preciado, Cheryl J. Abejuela and Antoine D. Holmes, Sierra Vista High School in Baldwin Park; Mark Thornburg and Pablo Arellanes, Coronado Continuing Education School in West Covina; Eric Pettis, Temple City High School; Diana Perales, Michelle Tran and Lori Truong, West Covina High School, and Sol Gallardo and Martin A. Tirado, Schurr High School in Montebello.
