LOS ANGELES : Ferraro Leaves Hospital After Heart Surgery

Los Angeles City Council President John Ferraro was released on Wednesday from Good Samaritan Hospital after successful heart surgery a week ago, a spokeswoman said.
Ferraro, 68, will continue his recovery at home from a quadruple bypass and installation of a heart defibrillator for several more weeks, said his spokeswoman, Erin Egge. Ferraro is expected to resume a light work schedule in early August, Egge said.
