The following are selected entries from the crime logs of local law enforcement agencies from June 29 to July 5:
Glendale
Altura Avenue, 3500 block--A boy and a young man were arrested at 10:20 a.m., June 29, after police found four recycling bins filled with recyclable materials in their van. The bins were returned to their owners.
Burchett Street, 200 block--A construction site at the Red Lion Inn was burglarized on June 29 or 30. More than $12,000 in equipment, tools and electrical fuses was stolen.
Anderson Avenue, 3800 block--Burglars entered a home through an open window between June 30 and July 2 and stole a VCR, valued at $1,500.
South Central Avenue, 1300 block--A teller at Wells Fargo Bank office was robbed of about $500 at 12:22 p.m., July 2, by a man who used a note stating that he had a gun.
Honolulu and Lowell avenues--Two men robbed a man at gunpoint of his 1992 Corvette valued at $36,000 at 3:30 p.m., July 2, after punching the victim in the face.
East Colorado Street, 100 block--A man described as a transient accosted a woman walking with her baby at 3:30 p.m., July 3. The man robbed the woman of a bracelet, valued at $800, and two necklaces of undetermined value.
West Kenneth Road, 500 block--Burglars forced a window open to gain entrance to a home between 3:45 and 6:30 p.m., July 3. Jewelry and a handgun of unknown value were stolen and the premises was ransacked.
North Verdugo Road, 300 block--The glass door of Plaza Liquor was broken and more than 100 cartons of cigarettes, valued at $2,000, were stolen shortly before 4 p.m., July 3 . . . Foothill Boulevard, 3900 block--The glass door of La Cresta Liquor Market was smashed at 4:40 a.m., July 3, and cigarettes of unknown value were stolen. Authorities were investigating a possible connection between the crimes.
Raymond Avenue, 1300 block--A TV, silverware, 80 compact discs and jewelry of unknown value were stolen from a home by burglars who broke a locked window to gain entry between 8 a.m. and 5:45 p.m., July 4.
La Canada Flintridge
Marvin Street, 4500 block--A bicycle, valued at $800, was stolen from a garage between June 1 and 29.
Eagle Rock
Broadway, 2700 block--Computer equipment and business machines, valued at $15,150, were stolen from a business between June 26 and 29.
Cedaredge Avenue, 1200 block--A thief entered an unlocked home and stole tools, valued at $2,030, between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m., July 2.
Montrose
Montrose Avenue, 2200 block and 2100 block--Two women at different locations reported that a man rode by on a bicycle and exposed his genitals to them at 11 and 11:05 a.m., June 29. No arrest was made.
Echo Park
Golden Gate Avenue, 1500 block--A thief accosted and choked a man in a parking facility at 6 a.m., June 29, until the victim became unconscious. The victim woke to find his wallet, valued at $85, missing.
Beaudry Avenue and Alpine Street--Two men armed with a handgun robbed a motorist of his car and money, valued together at $18,650, at 6:30 p.m., June 29.
McCollum Street, 1400 block--A stereo, cameras and equipment, valued at $1,850, were stolen from a home between 8 a.m. and 4:45 p.m., July 1.
Glassell Park
Fletcher Drive and San Fernando Road--A man bumped into a woman on a sidewalk and stole her purse, containing money and jewelry, valued at $1,185, at 3 p.m., June 28.
Eagle Rock Boulevard, 3200 block--A female burglar was arrested in a home at 9:50 a.m., June 29, but a male accomplice fled with tools and a radio valued at $506.
Cazador Street, 3300 block--Money and jewelry, valued together at $4,300, were stolen from a home between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., June 29.
Highland Park
North Figueroa Street, 4100 block--Heavy equipment and other property, valued at $4,450, were stolen from a storage shed on June 29 or 30.
North Figueroa Street, 5800 block--Money and other property, valued at $6,050, were stolen from a fast-food restaurant by a burglar who pried a door open between 1:30 and 10 a.m., July 1.
York Boulevard, 5500 block--Three men pried a lock bar off a video game and stole a computer board, valued at $2,500, between 3:30 and 6 p.m., July 2.
Los Feliz
Los Feliz Boulevard and Commonwealth Avenue--Three women asked a woman waiting at a bus stop for change, then struck her with a pipe and took her purse and money, valued at $435, at 8:55 p.m., June 28.
Rowena Avenue, 2800 block--Auto parts, accessories and a TV, valued at $22,152, were stolen from an auto repair shop between June 27 and 29.
Rowena Avenue, 3400 block--Three men armed with a handgun robbed a motorist of $580 at 12:01 a.m., June 29.
Sunset Boulevard, 4700 block--Computer equipment, valued at $2,900, was stolen from a medical facility between June 26 and 29.
Avocado Street, 4200 block--A TV and video equipment, valued at $3,500, were stolen from an apartment between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., June 30.
North Edgemont Street, 1700 block--Burglars pried open the door of an apartment, ransacked the premises and stole a stereo and jewelry, valued at $1,660, between 1 and 6 p.m., June 30.
Avocado Street, 4200 block--Burglars pried open an apartment window to gain entrance and stole money and a TV, valued at $1,959, between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m., June 30.
Sunset Boulevard and Sanborn Avenue--Two men wielding a broken bottle robbed a pedestrian of $890 in jewelry at 2:25 a.m., July 4.
Silver Lake
Fountain Avenue, 4800 block--Three men robbed a fast-food restaurant employee of $500 at 10:10 p.m., June 29.
Glendale and Silver Lake boulevards--Two men hiding by an automatic bank teller machine robbed a person at gunpoint of $200 after the person withdrew the money at 10 p.m., June 30.
West Silver Lake Boulevard, 1800 block--Burglars stole a TV and stereo, valued at $1,830, from an apartment between June 30 and July 1.
Allesandro Street, 2300 block--A stereo, valued at $2,000, was stolen from a home between 2 and 11:30 p.m., July 4.
