Cowboy King: Roy Rogers, who made 88 Westerns since 1935 while under contract with Republic Pictures, has returned to work with the studio one more time on the cable retrospective “Roy Rogers: King of the Cowboys,” American Movie Classics announced. Rogers will narrate the special, premiering on AMC in December, which will feature home movies, family photos, newsreels and movie clips.
