Bet On The Bay Wins Hollywood Park Feature

Favored Bet On The Bay beat Dr. Augusta by three-quarters of a length to win the $32,000 allowance feature race at Hollywood Park on Monday.

Bet On The Bay, ridden by David Flores, covered six furlongs in 1:09 2/5 and paid $5.40, $3 and $2.40. Dr. Augusta, ridden by Chris McCarron, finished one length in front of Dodsworth and returned $4.00 and $3.20.

Dodsworth, ridden by Gary Stevens, finished three lengths ahead of Blackbeard’s Ghost and paid $3.60.

Next in the field of 3-year-olds was Patriotaki, followed by Regalstaff, Cape Royale and Something Swell.

Bet On The Bay won $17,600.
