Wells Fargo to Impose Dispute Resolution Program: Wells Fargo Bank said it will impose a new dispute resolution program to settle complaints involving more than $25,000 brought by depositors and credit card customers. The San Francisco-based company said the program is designed to save time and money for the bank and customers. The program includes four steps: informal negotiation; mediation by a state arbitration service judge; if mediation fails, a non-jury trial overseen by an arbitration service judge, or binding arbitration before a state mediator. The new program follows a similar move by Bank of America announced last month.
