Akron, Ohio-based Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. said it expects second-quarter income to be at the high end of analysts’ estimates of $1.25 to $1.40 per share, compared to last year’s 38 cents. . . . The Federal Reserve reported that the average yield for one-year T-bills, the most popular index for making changes in adjustable-rate mortgages, fell to 3.96% last week from 4.14% the week before.
