FIRST LOVE: Here’s a quiz for entertainment buffs: Steve Allen is: A) a comedian, B) a best-selling author, C) a composer. He’s all of those things, of course. But Allen says: “Truly, at heart I am a jazz pianist.” Allen returns in that role today at Maxwell’s in Huntington Beach, for three afternoon shows. Allen says of his multiple careers: “I’m lucky in that all of my daydreams have come true.”
