Color-Blind Justice
If people wonder why minorities feel discriminated against and why they vented their frustration by rioting, they have only to read about the murder cases of Rosie Alfaro and Gregory Sturm.
Both committed heinous crimes, yet only Alfaro got the death sentence. Sturm did not--simply because he is white.
Justice is supposed to be blind, but in Simi Valley and Orange County, justice is only color-blind. Shades of the Deep South.
