Diemer Named to Housing Finance Board
* Christine Diemer, executive director of the Orange County region Building Industry Assn. and a longtime Republican activist, has been named to the California Housing Finance Agency board of directors by Gov. Pete Wilson. Diemer, 39, a Corona del Mar resident, was director of the state Department of Housing and Community Development in 1986-89. The former deputy state attorney general also was deputy secretary of the California Business, Transportation and Housing Agency in 1983-86. Directors of the Housing Finance Agency are not paid.
