Sometimes Crime Pays

Well, now. The FBI reports that 58 bank robberies have taken place already this year (“Bank Robberies Occur at a Record Pace,” June 19). The FBI speaks of one person who robbed three in four months and was sentenced to four years and three months. Now let’s see. With today’s “good time’ and overcrowded conditions, he might do maybe 1 1/2 years.

So it seems crime does pay after all. So let’s do the right thing and get out and register and vote now.
