Labor Party Wins in Israel
In response to “Now Let Our Hawks Step Down,” Commentary, June 25:
Michael Lerner is meschugge (crazy). He advocates territory for peace. He’s got that backward. To be reasonable, it should be peace for territories. Let there be an end to terrorist activities against Israeli citizens. Let there be an end to the Arab boycott against Israel. Let there be an end to the Arab rejectionism: no recognition, no negotiation, no peace with Israel. Let there be a response to the Israeli plea for peace with the Arab inhabitants of Israel and with Israel’s neighbors. Once these are in place, there will be no problem in resolving the issue of territories for peace.
